My first full lenght album and proudest work so far. The first project were I've true felt like I'm truely making the music I want to make with minimal comprimises due to lack of knoledge or confidence. Made trying to capture a very clean digital sound that balances cold glitchy noises with bits of both meloncholy and optomism within. Instead of trying to humanize a completely digital and sterilized form of music I wanted to embrace it. Very heavily inspired by the work of Autechre, having listening to Tri Repeate for the first time and becoming obessed with how uncomprimisingly cold and mechanical it was being the initial spark that made me want to make this
Building on the chill trap sounds of my previous EP Wet, Evaporate plays with a more varried and viberant sound pallate. From the Burial inspired drums that kick off Purity, the droney spacious dub bass on Venom or bouncy chords on Sesame Seed Oil I wanted to force myself more out of my comfort zone and give everything more personality
